Baptisms at St. James Lutheran Church take place during regular Sunday worship services. This normally happens on the first Sunday of the month, or on an appropriate festival Sunday such as the festival of the Baptism of Our Lord. There may be multiple baptisms at one time.
To schedule a baptism, or for more information, please contact the church office at (610) 282-3290. The church administrator and pastor will work with you to arrange a date for the baptism, gather the needed information and also to schedule baptismal counseling.
St. James gifts several items to infants and toddlers at their baptism. Among them are prayerfully made blankets which are prepared by volunteers at the church. If you like to knit or crochet, yarn is available for you to make a blanket for this purpose.
