St. James members are actively involved in the support of Betty Lou's Pantry in its day to day operations, providing food and monetary support as well as assisting with distribution of food to those in need. Collection bins for donations are available in the church lobby, at the Southern Lehigh Public Library, the Coopersburg and Center Valley Post offices as well as Lafayette Ambassador Bank in Coopersburg. Items collected include: pasta, pasta sauce, breakfast cereal, tuna, canned meat, peanut butter, jelly, canned beans, canned fruit, canned soup, toiletries, toilet paper, mashed potatoes, rice and more.

Betty Lou’s Pantry is a non-profit organization of participating churches in the Southern Lehigh area committed to gathering and distributing food products from our Lord’s bounty to our neighbors in need.
